Tivo recording problem

I've just bought a tivo off ebay and it is connected to a sagem freeview box. I have a problem playing some of the programs I have recorded. When I try to play them the screen pauses and then it goes to the delete screen.

Sounds like when TiVo tries to record it's not finding a signal on that channel. I take you ran guided setup when you got the box?
Is channel changing working OK? Do you see the STB change to right channel at the start of the truncated programmes? Does it work OK when you change channels manually using TiVo?

In addition to the above - Does the green bar at the bottom not fill the whole width of the timeslot shown?
