Music playback stops at end of song until Channel up

I'm using the TiVo Desktop 2.3 on Windows.
It works pretty well, but sometimes even when I "Play" an entire folder (CD), the TiVo stops at the end of each song and I have to hit Channel up (then it plays the next song).
It seems to do this consistently with the same folders, but never with other folders. They are all MP3s ripped with the same program (dbPowerAmp/LAME).
I recently moved all my music to another computer and installed TiVo Desktop there, and the same thing happens... any ideas?

I have this same issue occasionally. Although in my case, it is not every song, and not consistent for any single song (this says to me it is probably not the encoding in my case).

I notice that it usually occurs when the song starts playing back a second or two late. The status bar across the bottom indicates that the song is a couple of seconds shy from the end of the song.

I noticed it more when I was using a wireless network. It still happens with the wired network, but not as often.

Anyone have any ideas on the issue?

I also have this issue, but it only started about two months ago. Prior to that, I've never had it happen. Bug in 7.3.1 perhaps? My DTiVo with 6.2 seems to be fine. Guess it's time to dump the SAs. Oh...and I am using TiVo Desktop 2.1...
