HR10-250 Severe Error Warning

I moved one of my HR10-250s to another room. While booting up I got a green screen with a "Severe Error" warning instructing me to leave it running with the phone line connected as the receiver attempts to repair itself. If, after three hours, it is not working to call DirecTv. This receiver has always worked flawlessly.
Any thoughts as to what is going on?

That happened to my about 5 months ago. I did what it said and it has worked flawlessly since. No idea what happened.

Thanks for the response. You were correct. After about 90 minutes it rebooted and is working fine.

I just turned my TV on & saw this error. I normally do not leave my box plugged in (there is no jack nearby) so I brought out my long cord & plugged it in. I guess I will let it sit for a few hours & see if it resolves itself.

Thank god it did this on a Tuesday & not on a Thursday or other night when most of my favorite shows are on.

And just like that, it started working again within 90 minutes of plugging the phone cord back in. After it came back up, it rebooted itself 3-4 times, which freaked me out, but now it seems to be working just fine.

I got that same error message after a power failure im my neighborhood where the Tivo box turned off and on several times in a very short period of time. It did fix itself after a couple of hours. I'm sure the Tivo doesn't like it when power goes on and off quickly on multiple occasions.
