I've had my HD Tivo for about a week. My locals come OTA. Everything set up fine; everthing was as expected.

Tonight, I noticed that somthing on CBS had not recorded. When I manually tuned 7-1, I got the on-screen message: "Searching for signal on: antenna in."

(CBS is assigned channel 7, frequency 18).

I went to the "Test OTA Signal strength" menu and checked signal strength on frequency 18. I saw good strong signals of about 70 and a "digital signal acquired" on both tuners.

Hmm. I then plugged the antenna directly into the TV antenna input and, voila, CBS comes in fine.

Any ideas?

Did you get this resolved? Did you try contacting the local CBS station? It's possible they made a change in the psip info they send out with their signal and it's confusing the hddtivo but not your tv's tuner.
Good luck!

You might need to have your HR10-250 rescan its OTA channels (it's in the "Messages & Setup" menu where you setup our OTA tuner).

This problem occurred on a Sunday. On Monday morning it was working correctly. the HDTivo handled the change correctly.
