stoooopid CS people at the cable company yesterday. I dropped Showtime after Huff was cancelled. I figured I'd pick it up when Weeds came back. I called Cox yesterday and the girl told me that I had dropped showtime not too long ago so I didn't qualify for any special. It was 10 bux for it. I declined. I called today and the guy I talked to told me I could get showtime AND the ESPN tier for 6 bux. Now off to add Weeds to the SP. :up:

Consider yourself lucky... Comcast of DC is (supposedly, we'll see come September 12th) switching things so that you absolutely must have a cable box to get Showtime, and they want an additional $3.95 per month for the box in addition to the $14.25 per month for Showtime. Weeds alone ain't worth $18.20 per month (especially since the entire first season on DVD is selling for just a bit more than that).

What surprised me even more was that they didn't offer any of the normal "free HBO and Showtime for the first three months" deals I'm used to seeing.

Oh well, I'll enjoy the extra $14.25 a month in my pocket.

Weeds

Showtime has ordered another season of Weeds. Production will begin in the spring on 15 new episodes for season three, to air in the summer.

I'm going to watch the entire series again before I watch season 3, catch Maggie up, that and I LOVE this show, especially the intro songs in season 2 :)
