Does anyone know what is happening with Hex? They showed three or four episodes last Saturday. I recorded them but don't know if they are new or not.

They were repeats. The final episode for this year is this week and the show will return next year (summer?). The series was cancelled/not renewed in the UK so there may not be any closure. Also although they're calling it season two the US "seasons" don't match the UK seasons according to tv.com.

The US division makes some sense, however, because of the radical change in direction the show took in the middle of the UK Season 2...

Sure. They'll show them all eventually. The only thing odd they're doing is splitting the two seasons differently than the Brits did--but again, the American "seasons" make more sense. They're more evenly distributed (the British Season 1 was only 5 episodes), and the split occurs at a point where they had to make some drastic changes to the show because of something that happened behind the scenes.

Do you know what happened behind the scenes? I've been really curious about why it took such a drastic turn.

I've heard two stories--the actress wanted to pursue other opportunities (which never materialized); and the actress was upset about a nude scene in the first season that she didn't realize was going to be visible.
