Everyone is a vice president...

Tara Maitra, vice President and General Manager
Davina Kent, vice president of national advertising sales
Todd Juenger, vice president for audience research
Naveen Chopra, vice president of business development
Edward Lichty, vice president of corporate strategy
Jim Denney, vice president of product marketing
Katie Ho, vice president of marketing
Matthew Zinn, vice president and general counsel
Joe Miller, vice President
David Courtney, vice president and CFO

(these are VPs quoted in the press from the past 12 months or so)

In addition we have three spokesman...

David Shane, the TiVo spokesman
Elliot Sloan, a TiVo spokesman
TiVo spokesman Scott Sutherland

Is it any wonder that TiVo's marketing strategy is so scattershot when you have so many voices.

Actually, you missed quite a few, several of whom are new:

I agree that the company seems VP heavy. I wonder how the company ranks in terms of gross revenue per VP when compared with other companies of similar size?

You just have to use your title conversion tool.

VP=been at company for awhile

Senior VP= Actual VP

They have 21 VP's, but only 3 are Senior VP's.

So you are right on the nose, just like a bank.

So it's kind of like grade inflation. Or is more a product of the California educational system's everybody-is-a-winner "self-esteem" programs? "Oooh, we don't want the secretaries to feel left out, so they're all VPs now, too."

What about Pony, OpsMgr, and Jerry? Why aren't they VPs? I think this board rates at least one or two VPs posting on it.

I thought all secretaries became administrative assistants.

Behind closed doors, however...right now I can hear Rogers saying to Jerry "Thank you Sir, may I have another?", while Pony and OpsMgr are fanned and fed grapes by exotic-looking women.

Don't get me started again.
