The very beginning, before the credits rolled, and the very end, after the closing credits scroll, were priceless inspired comedy of the first order.

If you missed the last part here's a spoiler
Rick Shapiro, the goofy unshaven actor who was in the front row of the AA meeting, came on and introduced himself by name. He started to talk about a deeper meaning to tonights episode and when we were expecting a PSA about drunk driving and alcoholism he started in about how good it was to have sex with senior citizens, how you did'nt even need to worry about unplanned pregnancy...............It was all done staightface deadpan, very unexpected and very funny

Thanks for the head up. I caught the beginning one, but missed the one at the end.

Another + episode. This show continues to get better each week. Any word on renewals?

2nd time I tried watching Lucky Louie, it just leaves me cold. Maybe it has to slowly grow on me like Curb Your Enthusiasm. I did not get CYE at first either.

I thought this was the weakest one of the series. The one with the daughter misbehaving was the best. Overall, I really like this show. It's kind of like an R Rated Honeymooners. Anyone know where this is supposed to take place? The accents of the actors are all over the place. First I thought it was Chicago, then Boston...but I'm just not sure...

The best episode was the one where Louis was on a diet and wasn't supposed to be eating the donuts. That one was hysterical.

That was the first one we saw. The following ones have just not been that good (including this one)

At this point, I could take it or leave it. We watch it right now because there isn't many new shows on right now. If it doesn't get better, it may come off of SP.

I'ts a good show to kill that last 1/2 before bedtime, when there isn't quite enough time to watch an hour.

1/2 hour, even on HBO = 22 minutes.

1 hour = 45 minutes.

Also, gotta love shows where men like that have women like her.
Much akin to King of Queens and According to Jim.

women like what? I would easily kick both women on this show out of my bed...Lea (before she got crazy fat and bitchy) was a hottie all the way...

Louie's wife has that girl next door, best friends since grade school quality.
I'll pass on the "I wanna look like Geena Davis plastic surgery gone bad" wife, shudder.

Leah Remini, back when she wore capris, not the "new and improved" Leah.

Yes I'm committing the sin of quoting myself :o

Thanks to my insomnia and a night with VOD............I get it. Lucky Louie's humor kicked in with me after the 3rd ep. Now that I found this show, HBO is sure not to pick it up for a 2nd season. I'm a well known serial series killer. Sorry Lucky Louie fans :(
