Hello, I'm new here. I am trying to gut my original Quantum drive, I think it's a 30GB or 40GB drive & replace it w/ two Maxtor 80GB drives, one master, one slave. I have product lifetime of the unit. So, I replaced the drive w/ the two new imaged drives & as soon as I turn the unit on, the Tivo says - "acct suspended"! Anyhow, I am able to get to the set up menu & set everything up, confirms phone line connection & everything. Right when I get to, "which local ph # would you like for your Tivo unit to dial into for programming," I hit the select button & then the Tivo unit gives a roll on the picture screen & the unit starts all over again. For some reason, I can't get back to the system info main screen, just back to "set up," & the whole thing starts all over w/ the rolling just before the programming s takes place.
My original software info w/ the old drive is: 3.0-01-1-000 / the new info which was given: 1.3.0-04-037-000 if this helps. The Tivo system in the beginning did acknowledge the new capacity of the new 80GB drives. Any suggestions as far as what I need to do? Thanks!!
