For people who live in areas where their cable provider changes from TWC to Comcast or from Comcast to TWC, did you channel line-ups change as a result of the change in your cable provider?
I'm asking about this over-all but I'm also specifically asking about CNN International. I know that it's owned by TW. I'm wondering if I'll lose it when the swap to Comcast happens.

The swap already happened in Dallas. I don't think I lost any of the channels I get in my programming package. However, TW does indicate potential changes in the future. At a minimum, I won't be at all suprised of a shuffling of channels numbers.

My area (minneapolis) is going from TW to Comcast. There have been no changes yet but I received a letter from Comcast saying they're "looking forward to serving" the area. I didn't read through it very thoroughly but I would only expect channel lineups to match the provider, hence some changes.

TWC in Northeast Ohio swallowed both Adelphia and Comcast.

They added some channels, like C-SPAN 3 and Current, and the HD versions of the local UPN->My Network affiliate and TNT HD. No CNN International, at least yet.

It does appear in TWC's existing NEO lineup (digital 102), so I expect it'll show up over here at some point...maybe when they start consolidating lineups in a few months.

About the only channel lost in the Comcast/TWC swap is the NFL Network. TWC wants to put it in a sports package. I keep asking the president of the Dallas TWC why do they want to put it in a package when I can switch over to Direct TV and it not be in a a package.

I know a lot of people don't care about the NFL, but in our house it is a big channel and with football season starting, now is not a time to mess with it. Laugh...

Other than that, the swap has been pretty painless. No other channel changes that I know of.

Looks like no changes for the channel assignments for the Dallas MDU (for the "Standard" lineup, which I assume is what TW calls what I get now). Doesn't look like I lose anything, either.

If the NFL Network is the only thing I would miss out when I have to upgrade to a digital package to get HiDef, then I'll be OK with that. Yeah, I would have had it with Comcast, but I really didn't lose something, since I never had it to begin with.

Any idea when my TiVo will know about this so I can re-do guided setup? I'll assume that the old Comcast MDU lineup will disappear and that my TiVo will get all confused wihout me doing some manual intervention.

TWC has taken control for 7 days now and my TiVo has kept up with it without doing a guided setup. It even knew about the NFL Network change and deleted the channel from my lineup.

What about Comcast? Can someone who's undergone a TWC to Comcast swap post a channel line-up?

The Comcast web site still recognizes my area as being serviced by TWC. I think they have plans for transitioning slowly.

My channels are already fairly well grouped. But WTF is a "TWC like" channel?

Speaking of NFL Network... TWC is running crawl ( a really crappy looking one) about them dropping NFL Network. What channel are they running it on? C-SPAN. Stupid. They really want people to know what they are up to.

It's a semi-mess here, but luckily only with channels I don't watch.

TW dropped - then put back - but supposedly will drop again - NFL Network. Zap2It removed it form the lineup a few days after it was put back...

HBO analog disappeared from Zap2It listings... then returned it a few days later. (I suspect this was an error but can't confirm since I don't get HBO)

TWC moved numbers (from what I can tell, in just analog packages) to a more basic level of service... Zap2It successfully got this change.

A few other changes (local government access, Jewelry TV, etc more crap channels) were reported to move by Zap2It but didn't actually move... I guess that Zap2It is just ahead of the curve here.

Thankfully no MAJOR changes were screwed up.
