WOW. That is the most BIZARRE episode of TVB ever! And I LOVED IT!!!! In my opinion this was the best episode of the season thus far (and worth the two week wait!!!!).
SO MUCH to comment on in this episode! I REALLY loved the alien robot!!!!! And I laughed at the big-chested quasi-iPod posters in the subway (you have to pause to really enjoy them!).
Jonny Quest's son a drug addict?? Who knew?!?!?!
My brain is on overload....can't process all of the information....must watch again!

Did the "IGNORE ME" robot look alot like a Knight who says "Ni!!" to anyone else?Actually I thought he looked like Helper's big brother, or possibly a cross between C3PO and IG-88 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IG-88). But the stuff around his head did look a lot like the Ni! leader's outfit...

So much made me LOL!
"Ignore me" (especially to the baby), "fan letter to the Herculoids", (immediately recognizable) Jonny Quest in the bathesphere, the list goes on...

"IGNORE ME!"
That was some funny stuff right there... especially when he was crunched in the back of the cockpit. The totally meth'd out Johny Quest... "Are you holding?"... brilliant.
This may be a (purposefully) campy, late night cartoon.. but it also has some of the most original (and funny) writing on television. Every episode there is always something (often numerous) that gets funnier the more I think about it.

I didn't understand the scene after Johnny Quest being met, where Little Jonas is curled up in the chair? What did I miss?
Good episode though

You're right, I forgot about that. We "rewound" that scene a few times trying to figure out what we missed, but never did.

A lot was left to the imagination this time around (and after the 'Part Two' episode that never explained parts 1 or 3, I'm beginning to think that's going to be an ongoing trend):
Colonel Gentleman's dead? And he's got a crazy-person journal?
What happened at the end of the Johnny Quest scene?
The hilarious IGNORE ME alien was going to destroy life as we know it? And what did the Jonas alien actually look like?

Oh, and one LOL moment I forgot: when the "Ignore Me" knight jumped into the pool and his robe kept bubbling up.

The hilarious IGNORE ME alien was going to destroy life as we know it?Yep, which made his last line more ironic. (Paraphrasing) "Rejoice, earthlings, I've made my decision!" Like we were supposed to take being condemned as good news...

Brock found one of Dr. Venture's old shirts and it was too small. But what was on it? Was that a cookie? What nostalgic reference did I miss?

Beats me. I didn't understand that bit; no way any of Doc's shirts would fit Brock. Maybe it was supposed to be some kind of "roommate humor".
Also, Adult Swim started the episode on Sunday Night a few minutes early so the opening scene got cut off.
Good episode. The ending was a little contrived with the alien showing up disguised as Jonas Venture Sr. being a bit of a "deus ex machina" to wrap up all the plot threads; somehow the "ignore me" alien didn't seem all that threatening.
So....we've accounted for Race Bannon and Johnny Quest....maybe Haji shows up next season.
