TivoDeskTop can't find my DVR??

I just connected a Tivo wireless network adapter today (had been using a telephone connection previously). I downloaded Tivo Desktop but TivoToGo can't find my DVR.

My wireless router is a NetGear.

The message in the Tivo Server Properties dialogue box is "Please wait, searching for DVR's..." It's been like this for several hours. I've been through all the trouble shooting steps but haven't solved the problem.

Any insights??? Help!

Are you running any firewall software that could be blocking TiVo Desktop? Try temporarily disabling it and see if that helps.

Also, under TiVo Server Properties, check the Access Control tab and see if any DVRs are listed there.

Finally, try rebooting your TiVo, sometimes that helps too.
