R10 Front lights.. is there something wrong?

I just noticed today that when my R10 is in standby, both the power and rec lights blink a VERY dim orange color at a fast pace. Is this normal? The unit seems to be working fine.. I havent experienced any problems with the unit so far.

edit: just realized that now everytime something is recorded the word "Manual:" appears in front of it. Is there something wrong?

Have you done a restart or reboot? This can fix a lot of weird problems.

yeah restarted it and no change.. the unit is a referb come to think of it..

I havent experienced any problems with the unit so far.All eight of my units have done this, so I'd say it's normal. I'm not sure why they do it though (perhaps dimly showing HD activity?)

Do you have guide data? Units that are not boatanchored but without guide data will show recording as "Manual" I believe.

Explain the "manual" problem you are seeing.

Whenever a scheduled recording finishes recording, the title shows up in the now playing list with the word "Manual:" in front of the regular show name.
