Ok, so I'm going to be moving back south for a while, and it seems there will be about a 6-10 month stay in my old home town of Jackson, TN. The apartment complex I'm looking at uses this Jackson Energy Authority as an exclusive provider for Internet, Cable, and Utilities (phone they still have copper available). Basically, they're a FTTH (fiber to the home) setup like Verizon's FIOS.
Their website is woefully devoid of any usable information, but after digging around, it seems they use the Motorola DCT 2500, but of course I'm not sure, and I doubt the serial port would work (I do have a 2500 from Comcast up here with serial active).
Is anyone on here using this company or had any experience with them as far as TiVo would go? Obviously, worst case I can pull the old IR blasters out for the two, but I'm also thinking about S3 and it doesn't look like these guys are having anything to do with cable card.
