I followed the Hindsdale help to make a backup from my old Tivo disk and pipe it directly to mfsrestore. I also read the online interactive help. My command was:
mfsbackup -Tao - /dev/hdd | mfsrestore -s 127 -xzpi - /dev/hdb
My new disk is only 120GB.
The backup/restore took all night and produced no errors.
I put the drive back in my Tivo and it wouldn't play my original recordings.
I decided to delete everything and reset. I made some new recordings. Now it plays them just fine, but it won't stop replay when I hit the Tivo button or left arrow key.
Does anybody have a help for this?
I have searched and searched the forums. I can't find the answer.
I have found vague references to blesstivo. Is that a command I have to run, and if so, what is the syntax?
Thanks.
