Does anyone know if there is a TiVoWeb module that will let you rate shows over the internet using the green/red thumbs system? I do most of my TiVo maintenance from work, it saves my precious free-time!

You can change the Thumbs rating of each show just by clicking the "Thumbs" icon next to the show name! (as far as I know it's a core feature of TivoWeb)
(What exactly the "thumbs"  do for you is another matter altogether!!)

You can, 'cos I just tried it, but it's a bit long-winded.
You have to navigate to Now Playing, then click on the title of the show you want to Thumb. Then you click next to the title, where there's either a already Thumb or "no thumb" text. You can then tell Tivo how many "thumbs" to give the programme.

Interesting... My TiVoWeb doesn't have the facilities you mention either.. there isnt any 'thumbs' option...
I'm not doubting what you see, I must have an old version, naturally, I seek an upgrade...

Running 1.9.4 here; the latest (last?) available. This (http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/320/image1vs9.jpg) is what I see. See the 'thumb-up' next to the title? You don't get that?
Just noticed that you can click on the name of a programme too.

I imagine you are using a different skin to me, but beyond that, no, I don't get the thumbs or that little pie chart thing. I'm on 1.9.4 too. It's a long shot I know, but you're not running TivoWeb plus are you?

Oh, and I've tried several browsers and two OSs, just in case.

I think you need a module supplied by LJ to achieve the thumbs modification see http://www.ljay.org.uk/tivoweb/tivoweb.html . Carl you have probably got this installed

This Wikipedia entry lists most of the main TivoWeb Extensions that are available.

Yes, the TiVo Wikiepedia is good, but it didn't help in this case.
Installed and working! Yay! Many thanks to all for the help.

You can also manage the thumbs ratings for all series you have ever rated on the Tivo itself as an alphabetical list at User Interface/Preferences/Explicity Thumbed + Implied by Recordings. I think the module which added that functionality is probably not the Ljay one that shows thumbs in the individual recording entries?
I would recommend reviewing this list and carefully removing any +3 or -3 ratings that on reflection you feel may have been OTT and are skewing the results of Suggestions. Even then -3 does still seem to work out when targetted at something very specific like Football but not if used carelessly on a more general type of program like comedy or documentary of which you only just hate one show.
Despite my ratings of -3 everywhere for football my +3s for all forms of Motor Sport seem to override this so I still get plenty of Suggestions for motor sport series and none at all for football. ;)
