I think the poltergists have invaded my house, thing are falling apart about my ears seemingly on a daily basis!
My second TiVo (LT sub/160gb/Turbonet) rebooted itself last night and now is giving the error message "Failed while expanding data"
It's completing a manual daily call and downloading the data then it gives up with this error.
I temporarily dropped an old original 40gb drive into it and it worked perfectly so it doesn't appear to be the machine itself.
I don't mind having to reimage the drive but can I save the recordings?
This is essentially my wifes box so you can imagine the grief I'm in for if it's not working properly and my life won't be worth living if I wipe out her rubbish, oops, meant programmes .
