Recording from channels I can't receive!

Ok, something *very* strange is going on.

At the moment I can't receive BBC and ITV, except for BBC Scotland and Wales, reliably due to a dish or box problem. I deselected all the BBC channels and ITV channels 3 weeks ago because of this problem.

TiVo is still scheduling programs from those channels newly, so it isn't ones that were already in the list. My Sky box locks up when it selects these channels and it's driving me nuts.

Help!

Are they SPs? As these will still record.

Yeah, season passes. Hmm. Hadn't realised that happened, mind you I've not had reason to deselect BBC or ITV before :( Guess it's manual pruning time.

Season passes on channels you don't receive can be very useful if you have lots of wishlists.

Personally I have wishlists for various music terms (jazz, blues, etc.) that are very useful for picking up TV programmes, but tend to go beserk if applied to radio stations too! Therefore I have setup SPs for the few radio programmes I know I want and have deleted the radio channels from Channels I Receive - volia!

You can only set SPs for channels in 'Channels I Receive' - but they remain active (even if you remove the channel from 'Channels I Receive') until you delete the SP itself - or TiVo removes the channels.

It may be possible to set an SP for these channels from the 'full' live tv guide - I've not looked.
