Series 1 upgrade to WD 320 gb problems

I have a series 1 hdr 312 that I upgraded to a WD 320gb.
Tivo runs and everything works, only problem is that my drive only detects 163gb!
After reading thru threads, I see there is a 137gb limitation on Series 1 units.
Is there ANY work around or newer expansion software?

I had no problems with loading the image to the new drive and the expansion seemed ok.
Unit made GS call and runs flawlessly except for the size issue!!!!

Anyone?

First, you need an LBA48 boot CD such as the free one found here
http://www.ptvupgrade.com/products/software/lba48/index.html
Second, you'll need to run copykern after the copy and expand commands are finished.
