PC wont detect current TiVo harddrive

I'm trying to upgrade my SAT-T60 series 1 TiVo box. The original harddrive is a 40GB Quantum. I have connected this drive to my PC, but the BIOS doesn't recognize the drive. Any ideas on how I can make my PC recogize this drive?

Don't worry about the BIOS. Just boot the Linux tools disk and see what Linux says about the drive. It is possible that this drive will be seen as a 10MB drive. You may need to use qunlock to unlock the drive so it can be seen as a 40GB drive.
