I don't know if this has been mentioned before but what I'd like is a feature that would enable me to mark a section of a TiVo recorded program and transfer just that section to the PC.
For example, last week I was watching Iron Chef America and in the middle of the program a 1-minute promo came on. To my surprise, a friend of mine was featured in the promo. In order to permanently save that one minute of video I first had to transfer the entire hour to my computer, edit the piece I wanted, save it, and discard the hour-long show from my computer and my TiVo.
It would have been so much more convenient if I could have gone to the TiVo, flagged the minute I wanted to save, and transfer only that minute to the PC.
