I have an issue that I hope someone can help me with.
I have a DT Tivo connected to a Motorola digital receiver that is powered by Charter Communications.
The problem is that we have a local NBC affiliate that plays NBC programs on channel 8 and a weather channel on 130.
The Channel description on the weather channel is NBC programing :confused: even though it just shows a weather map all day.
Every now and then I go to watch a show that is recorded on NBC and find that I am watching a weather map instead of the show that I intended to record.
I have removed channel 130 from the list on Tivo and tonight I was watching a show from "Now Playing". When I went back to live tv I found that the DT was recording a show from channel 130 even though channel 8 was available.
The seasons pass was set up to record from channel 8. I don't know why it went to 130.
Is there a way to have tivo permanetly ignore channel 130 unless I specifically type in 130?
Who can change the description to remove the NBC schedule from channel 130?
