Enhanced TiVo Content???

I wake up this morning and see my series 2 TiVo is recording something. This is odd because I haven't set anything to record at 6:00 AM. I also have TiVo suggestions turned off. I turned on the TV and see that it is recording channel 5, which is not a station I watch. I try to change the channel and it asks if I want to stop receiving Enhanced TiVo Content. What is Enhanced TiVo Content? This is the first time I've seen it do this. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I just put it on my wireless network?

More explanation about it please. How did it start? Who's messing with my settings? How do I stop it from happening?

This is how TiVo downloads the commercials, movie trailers, etc you see on the menus. It has always happened (at least for the past 5 years or so) and there is no way to turn it off.

The only known way to stop it is to set a recording for the time the Enhanced Content airs. AFAIK, it has been around nearly since the beginning of TiVo, and you agree to it happening as part of your service agreement.

Wow! That blows my mind. This week is the first time I've ever seen it happen in five years. Something has changed. Now I'm forced to choose to accept the download or postpone. Just what are they trying to down load? Is it a program or an update to the guide? I glanced at it briefly and it looking like an infomercial.

How/where do I "...set a recording for the time the Enhanced Content airs?" It's been popping up during shows I'm watching.
