I'm bumping this post from the HME forum where it received no replies...
About a week ago, I started having a go back problem. When I view My tivo Recordings, I see everything available on my computer. I then start a transfer and it says it's transfering. But then when I go to watch it, it gives me an extended "buung" sound and an error message saying "error playing a recording" etc. I can and have played the recording on the tivo and pc before.
It only happens to some files, with no real rhyme or reason. Here are my specs:
series 2 540 40hr x2 (same thing happens on both)
Software version: 7.2.2b-oth-01-2-540
netgear ws-111 adapters.
Tivo desktop v2.2
Galleon native 2.3.0
I have not upgraded my hard drive or really done anything out of the ordinary prior to this happening. It just sprung up ut of the blue.
I tried searching threads but nothing really helped. Thanks in advance.
