Hey guys I was wondering if you can assist me with this question..

This afternoon I set up a season pass on Big Brother Local OTA station.. it set everything up however when the time came to record it did not do nothing...

After calling Direct Tv they told me that the HR10-250 Season Pass wont work on OTA HD Channels

is this True?!

After calling Direct Tv they told me that the HR10-250 Season Pass wont work on OTA HD ChannelsThis is False. There was some other reason the program didn't record. Check your "Recording History" (the top pick on the To Do List) to see what reason is given. Usually it's related to whether you set your SP to record repeats, or whether there's a conflict with a higher-ranked SP. Sometimes, it thinks it already recorded it within the last four weeks, and other times it claims that "someone in your household" modified your season pass to not record.

Most likely, though, your TiVo is smart enough to know that Big Brother show sucks, and decided you don't need to watch it. (j/k) :p

just got this receiver 5 hrs ago.. there was no previous record history..So who knows what is going on.. should I push the people to send me a non refurbish receiver? Any Luck of that happening?

One other thing missing is the logo on the top right corner, on my previous non HD Tivo it shows the logo example it would say the time, the channel and to the left of that you would see the channel logo... Now all I get is and empty area.. no logo no nothing!!

Anyway to get them back?!

Thanks for your help

It can take several hours for the program Guide Data to populate, so that's why your Season Pass didn't record. DirecTV was wrong ... you certainly CAN setup Season Passes for OTA HDTV channels.

The channel logos is a different problem. They'll come back when the next software update is delivered (see the thread here about the upcoming 6.3 software release).
