I just got the hr10-250 and have an ota antenna hooked up. The problem is when I enter the channel number for the locals it first goes to the sd locals and I must then channel up for the hd locals. Is there a way I can make it where when I punch in the channel number it will go directly to the hd channels. Ex: I want to go to 13-1, but I have to first punch in 13 then channel up to 13-1. I have removed the sd channels from the channel list, but it still goes to them if I punch in the number or channel up or down. I don't see the sd channels in the guide.
Thanks,
JJ

You need to enter the channel with its subchannel designation. In your example, you need to punch in "1 3 - 1 <enter>" to get channel 13-1. The "-" button is right above the "TV Input" button, and it's the same one that you use to skip to the end of a recording (or skip 30 seconds, if you have enabled that feature).
A shortcut to reach any "-1" channel is to just punch in the channel number and the "-", then hit enter or just wait a few seconds. If you don't hit a subchannel number after "-" it assumes subchannel 1.

If you have removed the channels from the channel list, it should not stop on them when you channel up/down. You're sure you've gone into Channels You Receive and unchecked your local channels, and then from live TV you have brought up the guide, pressed info, and changed the view to Channels You Receive? If you do that, using the channel up/down button in live TV should stop only on channels checked in CYR.

DOH! Thanks. I've been wondering how to do that. I've been doing the same thing as original poster - go to "5" then channel up to get to 5-1.
Also works on my Harmony 880 - interesting since I never "programmed" the "-" but it seems to magically work when I hit the >>skip button that I'd programmed with the 30-sec skip.
