A few days ago, my TiVo showed two episodes of "Lost" this Wednesday (9p-11p ET), and two episodes on 7/26, as has been SOP since ABC burned off the last episode of "Commander in Chief."

Now, my TiVo shows no "Lost" this Wednesday, and only one episode on 7/26 (9-10). "Lost" is now being pre-empted for "The One" this Wednesday, and "Primetime" at 10p on 7/26. However, ABC.com shows two episodes airing on 7/26 (though, apparently correctly, no episodes on 7/19).

The worst part is, they're just skipping the episodes that were to air this Wednesday. They won't rerun them at all - at least that's what the data says currently. They're rerunning the same episode on 7/26 at 9 that they were going to run all along, without first rerunning the prior two in sequence. Ugh! Looks like I'm going to have to buy those two eps on iTunes and watch them in beautiful iTMS resolution on my laptop.

Well, the one episode that was scheduled for 7/26 looks like is now showing Freddie and some other sitcom instead. I'm seriously pissed off about it. I bought the DVD of Season 1 early in the summer, and started a season pass on Season 2, because the schedule showed that the entire S2 would be replayed over the summer. My son and I just finished the last of our recorded episodes - and now it looks like we're not going to get to see the rest of the season. And for what? another American Idol wannabe rip-off?
