Is this supposed to sound even remotely interesting? Whether or not it accurately describes the show, it does nothing to attract any interest in watching it. This show is desperately in need of another publicist.

I watched the pilot on a studio screener and found it stunningly boring. None of the characters are particularly interesting and one woman has a speech impediment (or weird voice) that was so bad that it prompted my girlfriend to ask if the actress was deaf in real life. The only exception is the suicidal character, but by the end he seems to get happy.

But people in my office liked it. Go figure.

I don't get why everybody is so upset by THE CLASS. A bunch of us saw it on an American Airlines flight. The whole plane was laughing! The girl that somebody thought was "deaf" turns out to be a Julliard trained, Tony nominated actress. I thought she was interesting and real. You talk about stock characters. How is she a stock character. Also, it makes no sense to judge a series solely on the pilot. Did anyone see the SEINFELD pilot. It totally sucked. All I'm saying is give this show a chance. It's so much better than anyother new comedy. :up:
