'Traveler' - New show - Leaked

"Jay, Tyler and Will were friends who had spent the last two years in grad
school living together. They were about to go on a summer journey, but a simple
prank to rollerblade through one of New York's most famous museums made Jay and
Tyler prime suspects in a terrorist bombing that destroyed the museum a few
seconds later. Jay and Tyler hoped that Will could clear their name, but
discovered that they had no way of proving Will ever existed. The F.B.I.
reported that a man matching Will's description was found dead at the bombing
site, and that the bombing was triggered by a call from Jay's cell phone,
leading Jay and Tyler to believe that Will may have set them up. Now Jay and
Tyler are on the run from the F.B.I. and must get to the bottom of the
conspiracy that has destroyed their lives."

Heroes leaked earlier today, although the quality isn't great. One has a WMV codec and the other is a transcode that can be played on Macs.

Heroes has been leaked and the quality of the one I downloaded was good. The show felt very similar to early season Surface with a bunch of different stories going on at the same time. A unexpected twist at the end as well. Not great but not terrible either.

I was kind of expecting more as well. The japanese guy saved the episode.

What ever happened to this show "Traveler"? I had downloaded this first episode, and thought it was actually excellent. Was supposed to be out January 2007. Now, can't find anything about it on the Internet anywhere! Anyone have any idea what happened?

Late last year ABC cut the order from 13 to 8 episodes early so they could wrap up the serialized story in 8. Still no word about a premier date, though they refer to "new this summer" on thefutoncritic.com (of course, it used to just say "new this spring").

At http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0805668/board/nest/67442297 someone said yesterday that it's scheduled for the beginning of April -- either 10pm Mondays or 9pm Tuesdays. Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traveler_%28TV_series%29) also lists April 2007.

I watched the Pilot of Traveler last summer as well, and it was good.

I'll give it a SP when it comes on.

ABC's press junket for the show is next Thursday. Their invite lists the show as "an 8-episode action event airing on ABC, Summer 2007." So there you have it.

I had higher hopes for Daybreak since it had star name recognition. Traveler looked promising, so I hope ABC treats it better than it Daybreak.

Variety reports that Traveler premieres on May 30 at 10 p.m. See the article "ABC sets Wednesday schedule" posted March 11. Sorry, I don't have enough posts yet to include the link. I'd consider this to be reliable rumor instead of confirmed fact until either ABC issues issues a press release, the premiere date shows up on The Futon Critic, or Traveler is listed on the TV schedule posted on ABC Media Net.

I never heard anything about this one last summer, but it looks really interesting. I'm also glad that it's beencut to 8 eps and will air in the summer. That will allow me to actually pay attention to it and to know that it will air all the eps.

Did anyone watch the episode that was aired last week (5/10)? I meant to record it and forgot about it. I was watching last week's Lost again and noticed the commercial for it, but realized that was already passed.

Based on the show description I would say no but then reading some of the good reviews it could get a chance with me... Not into the watching on the web myself so will pick it when it gets on tv.
