Hi -
I took advantage of my free HR10-250 and the installer just left. I am using this receiver to replace my combination of my DVR40 & H20 running on the same tv.
I have already reactivated my H20 and plan to deactivate the DVR40 and use it only for the recorded programs. Most of the shows that have been recorded are older kids show that are not on anymore and rather than moving it to DVD (pain for my wife) I thought they can just switch TV inputs and Poof!
The problem that I am having is both the DVR40 and new HR10 both have the same remote and both units respond at the same time. I have a Harmony 676 which I plan on using but I think I may have a similar problem. My previous setup allowed me to separate functions on the remote. When I pressed "HiDef" my H20 came on and my tv switched to the HDMI input and the DVR40 ignored the remotes signals. I'll figure that one out, but if there is a way to identify which peanut remote to work with a certain receiver, that would help me out a lot
