Just added:-

Samsung 250gb HA250JC Media drive (Great service from Tivo Heaven)

Acousti AcoustiFan: DustPROOF 80mm (from Quiet PC)

new power supply (Ebay £10)

30 minutes work,

Tivo now totally silent,

What do you think has made the biggest difference - the fan or the hard drive? I've also got the Samsung drive, but never considered changing the fan. Do you think it is worth doing?

the fan is silent, I suspect the noisiest part was in fact the PSU!
