AV Receiver "NO popping"

I am about to replace my Sony receiver STR-DE835. One of the things that annoys the living #$% out of me, is the popping coming from the HR10-250 when watching a show with a digital audio feed. I was wondering if anybody has a surround sound receiver out there that does not experience this.

I am looking for a receiver around the $400 range.

I have a Sony STR-DA80ES, their higher end 'ES' series and I don't have the popping. It's a few years old, but I know they still have the ES series. I believe they're around twice your $400 price, though.

I hear it only on my Sony TV while viewing OTA HD, and it only "pops" when it goes from a SD signal back to a HD signal, and vice versa.....

I've also no popping on a DA-50ES; never had any on the various SD DirecTiVos connected to it with various software versions or with the HD TiVo connected to it now.

I don't have any popping and have three HR10-250s running through my Onkyo TX-SR800 receiver. However, it's easily twice the price that you're looking to spend.
