What's up with TV Land, many programs are starting off schedule messing up scheduled recordings.

I notice the same thing. I record Sanford and Son and it usually records about 4 minutes on the beginning of the previous show. I guess it's because older shows were timed differently.
Are yours cutting off in the middle of episodes?

Ugg! I wanted to watch Newsradio, so I had TiVo record the marathon the other night. Each episode started about 10 minutes early!
I am seeing this as well. I recorded a bunch of the NewsRadio marathon and it is all almost exactly 15 minutes off -- so there is 1/2 of 2 different episodes in each recording. Very annoying. I've never seen start times that are *this* off before -- I am wondering if it's the guide data that's off.

They're not bothering to update their guide data. It's merely more commercials.
When Benson was running at 11:30, it was starting six minutes late and ended 8-9 min. late, so I had to record a 45 minute-block to get the show. Profoundly irritating.

Wonder if we can contact them and find out what is up.

This is not the first time that they are off and probably won't be the last time. I used to record several shows from TVland, but I stopped watching because it was annoying.

Nick-at-Night/TV Land switchboard: (212) 258-7579
Online complaint form (http://www.tvland.com/switchboard/switchform.jhtml).
Complain away, I know I will.

It's not just the Guide data that is wrong - even their own web site's schedules are off.
Contact TV Land & Nick at Nite HERE (http://www.tvland.com/switchboard/switchform.jhtml) and tell them to confiscate their summer intern's bong already!

On this past Sunday & Monday AM they had NewsRadio scheduled for 1:00 AM (PST) but it actually aired at 1:30. Their own web site's schedule page has been off as well as the guide.
Make sure you mention that you'll be contacting the sponsors to tell them why you won't watch TV land anymore until they fix their problem. Wether you do either or not is up to you, but the threat of their sponsors getting involved is more likely to get some action.
