2 reboots within 45 minutes!

I guess I should expect this. I could count on less than one hand the reboots I've had in the 16-17 months we've owned it.

Maybe I won't have to watch all two hours of Americas Got Talent after all. ;)

Color me misinformed, but what channel is this America's Got Talent on?

I know people were having reboot problems while trying to watch American Idol, and IMHO, something in FOX's or the affiliates signal was causing it.

America's Got Talent is on NBC, not Fox.

That is certainly possible, but I hardly think it could be more than a coincidence. If there were some sort of system-wide signal problem, it would seem that there would probably be 30 million folks screaming rather than a handful. FOX affils have no way to mess with the FOX network feed, as the Terrayon splicer effectively bypasses all local processing all the way to the exciter. Most FOX affils had no reports of such problems.

3 reboots in a row also sort of rules out a OS memory leak, and points to a possible HDD issue. It might take a full reformat to clear this problem. I'd be inclined to do a Weaknees replacement instead, and reformat the original drive and recycle it into a PC, myself.

Or, it may be a rare coincidence. If it keeps happening, the odds of that grow slimmer each time.

I had the same problem and switched boxes and everything is fine now, I bet you have a bad HD.

It's quite possible that I'm having an HDD issue like many others here have had in the past. I even mentioned to the wife that it looks like it's time to do a clear and delete.

BTW, AGT is SD but Dolby 5.1 . The 3rd reboot occured after I had switched to HBOH for the re-run of Deadwood.
