Will the Toshiba RS-TX20 play SVCD DVDs?

Basically I’m putting 480x480 video from a DirecTivo onto DVD and want to know if the RS-TX20 should play this natively at 4:3 as most other DVD players do (thinking it's a SVCD) or will the TX20 not play 480x480 images under no circumstances.

I've never tried, but I'm guessing it would work... It certainly has no problem with 480x480 in general, seeing as that's what it's doing when you transfer a high or best-quality recording from a normal S2.
