Series 1 and an OTA HD tuner?

Does anyone here know of a way to get an old Series 1 so it can send out channel changes to an OTA high def tuner? Most likely by IR?

The easiest way is to use a directv or dishnetwork receiver that has an ATSC tuner built in. There are some ota only tuners that do work , I've had good luck with an LG reciever that responds to the IR codes for directv and accepts 3 digit channel numbers.
