Change 'Other' channel for SP

I'm not sure when it started, but we've noticed that the DTiVo (DSR-704) has started telling us it needs to change the OTHER channel (the one I'm not watching) to pick up a scheduled SP recording.

When did DTiVos start doing that? I'm pretty sure it wasn't doing it a year ago.

It's been doing it since at least the 2.5.2 software several years ago. It will prompt you if you have used the remote in the last 30 minutes I think.

I've noticed, on my R10, that it asks if I've been switching between the tuners recently, particularly if I've recently changed the channel on the other tuner, then flipped between them.

If I've only been watching 1 tuner for a while, I don't get a notification.
