Hi,
I'm experiencing a weird problen - Had TivoNet installed for almost 3 years but now its stopped responding,
I cannot ping it and it apprears to stop responding to any ARP requests.
If I reboot the tivo, I manage to ping and telnet in whilst its saying "A few more moments" but then when the Tivo startup video thing appears I loose all connectivity.
Anyone experienced this or know what might be causing it?

This really belongs inthe Underground section, but you should look to see if a new software version got installed.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Sorry for posting in the wrong forum - Can I move it myself?
I am about to boot the drive in my linux system to see if theres anything in the log or if something weird is happening in the config files.
As far as I know no new software has been installed - Its a UK unit and as far as I know, Tivo UK are not releasing new versions.
It was all setup fine and the last successful call was 27th June so not sure what happened.
Will check the logs etc and let you know how I get on.

You can't move it - but you can ask a mod to move it by using "Report Post".

Ah Ok, will do that - although about 20 secs ago I have fixed it - I ended up re-running the turbonet installation and thats sorted it.
I had looked at the rc.net file and it appeared to set all the IPs etc but then did ifconfig eth0 down
which was strange and im not sure how that got there. Oh well its sorted now!

I presume you had the same problem?
If so, are you in the UK and did it start around 27th June? Just wondering if Tivo UK Sent a software update out?
