Hi guys. I have written about this before,so I apologize.

I set up a sports wishlist for the Milwaukee Brewers to record. I looked in the "view upcoming programs" list and there are 4 games set to record. However, none of them are listed in the to-do list.

I looked and it says the wishlist is set to automatically record. Do you think it will even though they aren't in the to-do list?

Thankis for any and all help.

The View Upcoming Programs just lists programs that match the wishlist. Do these 4 games have a blue dot with a white star (I think that's right) next to them? The wishlist itself will have a blue dot and white star if it is set to auto record.

none of the 4 individual games have any kind of marking beside them. It appears that they do not record, as it is supposed to be doing so ATM...

The wishlist, as a whole, has a blue circle/gold star by it.

What's the point of having that if you have to go into each individual game and set it to record?

You don't.

What are the settings you use for the auto-recording wishlist?

Settings which would probably work very well for you would be:

keyword: Milwaukee Brewers>Show Types/Event
Keep At Most: your preference
Show Type: Repeats & first run (this doesn't work properly when set to First run only)
Keep until: Space needed
Stop Recording: 1 1/2 hours longer (I always pad baseball to catch extra innings or rain delays.)

If you use these settings, then checking your "view upcoming programs" every few days or so will reveal which games are scheduled to record, and if there are any blackout problems, such as espn games which you won't get, you can simply set the rsn game to record (remember to pad the end!), and the wishlist will then not record the espn game it had originally selected.

I hope this helps.

I apologize for taking so long to read this, but I took your suggestion and used the show type/event thing and it now works great. Thanks so much.

I'm glad to hear that. You're quite welcome.

Just remember to occasionally review your "view upcoming programs" listing to catch any blackout situations, and you should be pretty pleased with how it works.

OK... I am sure no one cares anymore :), but I THINK I may finally have my problem solved. In the area where it asks if you want first run, repeat and first run, or all with duplicates... I have been choosing first run only. I switched it to first run and repeat, and it picked up a lot of games and automatically recorded them :)

Yup, that's a key setting. Glad it's working.

I must've misunderstood what it meant. I thought if I selected that. I would get the live game and any other replay of that same game on that particular channel, and I didn't want that. I only wanted the live game, so I usually selected "first run only".
