View Full Version : PPV and SAT-T60 Issue

Hey Folks -

I have a SAT-T60 that has been worry-free for about 4 years now. Recently however, when I order a PPV the machine will act fine right thru the purchase and record stage. When the PPV starts, it shows up on the Now PLaying List and the number of minutes recorded is consistent with the movie's play length. The problem:

After the movie is recorded and I go to watch it from the Now Playing List, the progress bar along the bottom shows up as 1-1/2 to 2hrs as it should but only 5 minutes of movies has been recorded. I don't get charged for the PPV and on the history list, it shows up as a canceled event.

So, I order a movie and it acts as though it is recording, but it cancels itself and I don't get charged for it. Problem is, I don't get the movie.

Thoughts?

I rarely order PPV with my T60, so I can't really comment on that specifically. It's good that you don't get charged for the purchase. What does the purchase history show? Does it do it on all PPVs or just one particular channel? Any normal recordings affected? Your description is something I haven't seen before. Have you tried a restart or reboot of the unit?

Is a phone line connected? Maybe the access card is full.

might be getting an extension 733 or 731 or such

It sound slike the purchase did not go through. You can always view the first 5 minutes of the non-adult PPV with or without ordering.
