after some thinking,
I would like one of my Tivos to go right into season pass options when i click season pass, with the option to turn of that option, maybe under an advanced user features option page or something like that.
The Cnet loop....
I subscribe for cnet and then when I am done I start over at the beginning of the subscription process, instead of back at the main menu or the tivo mag. thing.
the Infra Red sender...
There are 2 infrared senders on my tivo, can one be for a cable box and the other be for a VCR (I might want to save something to tape) or left open to control something else?
about my previous energy star post,
The tivo should go into standby after 3 hours of non-marathon watching. This would help people get outside and watch less tv, but at the same time expanding lifespan cause of exercise etc....
Also this could when the person comes back to the tivo have some kind of welcome screen with like weather or yahoo email alerts something very common, or a new wishlist recording alert something cool.
With one of my tivos i would like it to kick back to a music channel so that I can fast forward to the music I like when I sit down, or have the music play in the back ground of the main menu etc...
and the easy thing to do,
the weather icon for the weather option should be what the current weather is for today, or easy to set for what I would like, example tomorrows weather or tonights weather.
And the one I would like the most....
I sometimes get into a TV show in the middle of a season. I would like to know if there is a numbering system for the episodes or one can be created and then tivo records them in order, and saves them for later watching :) Or for series that don't have to be watched in order a kind of checklist of the ones that I have seen, cause when seasonpass records the old ones, it records them all, kinda prematurely wearing out hard drive and also would optimize recording of other programing that airs at the same time.
I guess thats enough for now, feel free to email me if you need more details.
I might like to be a HD-Beta tester too :-)
