So I had a show recording last night and I sat down to watch what was recorded already (about 40min had been recorded when I started). About 5min into the show, my wife remembered that last weeks ran long, so I went into the Season Pass editor and added a 5min end buffer. Well, when I went back into the Now Playing list, it was gone. I checked my live TV buffer and that too was gone.
Have people seen this? This is the first I have seen this happen in my many years of TiVo/DirecTiVo ownership.

If you make any changes to a season pass the Tivo will interrupt live TV and any recordings in progress to affect the change. The next time you want to make a change to a recording in progress, go to the Now Playing list and make the change from there. Select the show and then select recording options or season passes and other options from the list. You should be able to pad the end of the recording without interrupting it.

Hmmm, you would think there would be a warning, similar to the one if you want to test the signal strength.

This happens because basically what TiVo does...
It deletes all the scheduled recordings (including the one you are actively recording), and then re-inserts them based on your new options.
