Games on Tivo?

hey long time lurker, first time post. :)

my dad has a dvd-r Tivo, and his tivo has some games on it, and weather, and some other stuff. i just got my series2 DT yesterday, and that stuff isnt on it. ive done extensive research, and i see some info about yahoo programs, and the need for broadband (which i have).

am i missing something? is this something extra i need to download/buy?

This is included with your subscription. Confirm that you are connected via a broadband connection and that you are getting programming updates.

To confirm your broadband connection go to: Messages&Setup --> Setup --> Phone & Network, etc. to confirm that you are connected via Network.

To confirm you are getting programming updates: Go to the System Information screen under Messages & Setup. Look down a couple of pages for "Last Update" (or something worded to that effect). Make sure that you you are running TiVo software 7.2 or later).

Once you activated your TiVo and set it up with broadband, those items will show up in a few days.
