sat:Tuner 2 input has gone out

Hi, I'm new to the community. I have a DirectvTivo R-10. and just he other day I noticed a message that there was "no signal on sat input 2." I went through several setup tests, still no signal on tuner 2. I unplugged tuner 1 cable and plugged it into tuner 2 and vis versa still no signal from tuner 2, only signal1 works.
So I reconfigured my setup for Just tuner 1 so that my programs could continue to be recorded. Has anyone had a tuner replaced in one of their R-10's?

It would be cheaper for you to have the entire R10 replaced (if you can locate one), then trying to replace the tuner.

Did you try a reboot? My second tuner wasn't working for a while either (when I first purchased the Dtivo). After leaving it unplugged for about 15 minutes, the 2nd tuner started working again.

Thanks, I think perfyct's suggestion will be my first option. When I get home today I'll give it a try.

But did you reset before or after swapping the cables??

Note that I believe these third part directv installers when they say anything, but.... the one who was here a couple of weeks ago told me if both sat lines are not active when the tivo powers up it may not see them. So if you power down and then power up the receiver, it may resolve the issue.

Oddly, this happened to me just Tuesday. And sure enough, it worked!
