Satellite Info Error

I have the DirecTV HDVR2 Series 2.

The unit gives me a "Satellite Info Error." It tries to acquire satellite info, goes to 9%, then resets to 0% and ultimately gives an error.

I have tried the setup multiple times, as well as reconnecting the satellite cables after the setup, etc. Nothing works to get it to view Live TV.

The unit works fine from the Now Playing List to view stored programming, but no live tv viewing at all.

Suggestions? Thanks much.

Remove the satellite in cables, then reset...after resetting, wait until it tries to acquire guide data...at this time, reconnect both of the sat in cables..it should work for you.

see if it's dropping out a lot, seen it a few times exact issue
