I want to get HD local programming.
I don't have the exact specs below but here's my current configuration that was installed 15 months ago. I have been a Directv customer since 02/1998
Sony 55" Wega
Tivo 30 hour Hughes unit
HD Receiver
Directv Oval 3 LNB dish
OTA antenna supplied by Directv but only pulls in Fox
Have HD Directv programming package
I never use the HD programming package from Directv because it's a pain to use another remote to switch and change buttons.
It's a shame I have a nice TV and can't even record HD programming or get local HD channels.
Any suggestions on what I need to upgrade to get local HD and be able to use one remote and record HD to TIVO?
