View Full Version : Phone Numbers List for Calls
After 5+ years of service my SAT-T60's A drive died :(
I'm just finishing the process of replacing it, but something came to my mind. I remember that DirecTV changed the phone numbers used for the daily calls in the Miami area (305 area code). My backup image was made before this change and I don't remember the new numbers.
Can you guys tell me where I can find an updated list of phone numbers, or just give me the local number(s) for the 305 area?
Thanks in advance for your help.

They use TiVos number database, available on tivo.com somewhere.
Thanks for the info!
I was trying to find that info on DirecTV's website, but I couldn't. I followed your tip and it was an easy find on TiVo's site.
But this just opens another door... Is DirecTV still using TiVo's numbers? I was under the impression they took over the Direct-TiVos and was expecting different phone numbers than TiVo's.

The calls are still to TiVo. The URL for lookup is http://www3.tivo.com/tivo-misc/popfinder.do
There's a separate call to DirecTV once a month, which uses a toll-free number.
Thanks, Steve!
Just to be on the safe side, the phone number I need to set up is the one for the calls to TiVo. The toll free number to call DirecTV once a month is something built-in, I guess, and I don't need to set it up, right?
You won't have to worry about the number for DTV callbacks. The receiver itself will take care of that. Just use a TiVo dial-in number from the TiVo website and you're good to go.

Not only do you not need to set up the DirecTV call, but there's no way for you to do so even if you wanted to. You have no control over this call or when it is made. If the DirecTV call is not made, at some point you will no longer be able to order PPV through the remote.
