Tivo stops making suggestions

Everything has been working perfectly for roughly 2 years: Series 2, wireless setup.

Now nothing is showing up in my Suggestions.

So, I force a daily call, reboot, etc., the whole 9 yards, and in the morning I'll get Suggestions.

But eventually I'll get back to the situation where I don't have any Suggestions.

Everything else is fine. Season passes are working just fine. Wireless seems to be working fine.

Any suggestions, ideas, questions?

I have the same thing on one of my Zippered Tivo's, but not on the other.
Suggestions are turned on, but TWP has nothing in "Scheduled Suggestions".

Not a big deal, but curious.

I think I figured out the reason behind this. My wife and I had been pretty liberal with 2 or 3 thumbs up/down, and I guess when you do that, it goes beyond the show itself to the genre of the show, the actors, directors, etc. The example given in the documentation is "If you give 3 thumbs down to several movies, it will think you don't like movies at all, and so stop suggesting any to you." So, we had pretty much made it so that there were very few shows to suggest to us.

So, I cleared all thumb ratings, and started again, this time just giving 1 thumb up or down. Took a while and of course isn't done, but I did get a ton of suggestions in the morning.
