Ifconfig problem

Hey Everyone,

I am having a problem with my Ifconfig.... I went ahead and uninstall the tweak.sh script cause in my tivowebplus the hackman did not show up. after uninstalling it I was unable to reinstall it cause it told me to Adjust the DNS. so I checked the IP address of the Ethernet on the tivo and the Eth0 was missing. So I manually put it in by typing ETH0 <ip address>, After that I was able to ftp in to but still was unable to install the tweak.sh script. I restarted the tivo and look in the if config and the eth0 was missing again..

How would I be able to get this to start working again??

IP paramters are set in MFS not with ifconfig. Use the tivowebplus netconfig page to set your IP parameters.

I uninstalled tivoweb when I uninstalled the tweak file. How would I be able to set it up without tivoweb?

Follow steps 1,2,3 of this (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=258516), otherwise get lgkhan's netconfig script from DDB.
