on this Independence Day... My Uncle was the Sheriff of Butte Montana, my cousin was a King County Deputy for over 25 years. I myself, served as an Air Force specialist during the VietNam conflict (small PS, I spent over a year there and got shot twice!). I salute these fine men whose duty was "To Protect And Serve" us.
The fine men of the FDNY and NYPD also deserve a bow on our day of celebration!
